The JuBu is an open afternoon meeting for all children and young people aged 10 - 18.
When? Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Where? Spierenweg 33, 30419 Hannover / Friedenauer Straße stop
What's on? Meeting friends, playing billiards, darts, cooking and baking, chilling, crafting and arts and crafts, playing PlayStation, having lots of fun, and much more. Additionally, various activities and excursions, such as trips to the cinema, are planned for the holidays. A special program is planned with the JugendButze participants, tailored to their wishes and interests.
The experiences gained from our day-to-day work in our projects demonstrate that many children, due to their diverse biographical backgrounds and the systems in which they live, demonstrate increased needs for action and support in a wide variety of areas, such as social-emotional development, language development, practical life skills, and much more. Therefore, we aim to further support and challenge the children and young people through child-friendly, playful activities, either individually or in small groups, appropriate to their developmental level.
This creates security and trust and facilitates communication. Furthermore, the JugendButze provides a setting where conversations can be held in a familiar atmosphere and offers children and young people a comfortable retreat, something they often don't have at home due to the many large families in our catchment area.
