We are a non-profit organization that has been working with seniors for over 45 years and has also been supporting disadvantaged children and young people in Hanover and the surrounding area since 2009. At Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV, our motto is: "We don't just learn from each other, but best of all with each other." The goal of our work is to promote inclusion and integration for all people, improve the educational experience of children and young people, and enable seniors to age independently in a familiar, homely environment. We are guided by children's and human rights and are committed to equal opportunities.

    Vinnhorst Riflemen's Parade - We were there!

    August 2025 On August 24, 2025, the time had come again: Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV (Social Work Vinnhorst Association) delightedly participated in the traditional Vinnhorst Marksmen's Parade. We marched together through the streets in glorious weather. It was a wonderful opportunity to chat with many familiar and new faces. After the parade, there was a special highlight for the children: a fast-paced ride on the bumper cars, which brought joy to their eyes and provided lots of fun. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with many pleasant encounters and a great sense of community. We're already looking forward to next year!

Starting immediately, we offer you the opportunity to use our learning support flexibly and according to your needs: in-person or online. Our dedicated teachers look forward to working with you toward your goals. In addition to classes, we offer a varied leisure program with various activities and excursions that break up your daily learning routine and make it fun!
