The Vinnhorster Oldies regularly host a variety of events, including summer festivals, Oktoberfests, dance evenings, and Christmas parties. Tea dance for seniors – premiere full of joie de vivre!
On August 21, 2025, we celebrated a very special premiere as part of our senior citizen assistance program: our first tea dance! In glorious summer weather, we danced, laughed, and reminisced together.
The atmosphere was great, with the sounds of old hits, rock 'n' roll, and unforgettable evergreens. Everyone joined in and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Of course, refreshments were also provided. There were delicious snacks, finger food, refreshing cold drinks, and a fruity punch to further boost the summer mood.
It was an all-round successful afternoon that will be remembered for a long time and one thing is certain:

Christmas party of the Vinnhorster Oldies on December 19, 2024
There's room in even the smallest hut. Under this motto, around 43 Vinnhorst veterans celebrated their Christmas party on December 19, 2024, in our GenerationsButze. Over coffee, sparkling wine, cookies, hearty bread and butter, and a delicious soup, they laughed together and enjoyed the company of fellowship.
Thanks to the generous support of Merkurapotheke Vinnhorst, all participants received a small gift: an "emergency kit." These useful helpers are filled with essential personal information and stored in the refrigerator. In an emergency, they provide emergency services with quick access to information such as contact details of relatives or medication schedules.
Ms. Jeannette Szymczack contributed to the Christmas atmosphere with a captivating poem. The event concluded with an exciting and highly entertaining Secret Santa, which the participants thoroughly enjoyed.
