"putz.munter" Campaign 2025 This week, we held our trash collection day at our open children's afternoon, the "Butze." Since "our square" is considered a perceived hotspot in Vinnhorst, we deliberately chose this location for our cleanup campaign with the children. The playground directly in front of our facility is particularly frequently heavily littered with trash, some of which contains dangerous items such as e-cigarettes, broken glass, or sharp metal—a major danger, especially for children. Under the motto "We count here," we and 23 children dedicated two hours to the playground in front of the Butze and collected a considerable amount of trash. In addition to fun and a small competition ("Who can collect the most trash?"), the focus was also on raising awareness of environmental awareness. Why shouldn't you just throw away bottles? Why shouldn't you touch cigarette butts with your bare hands? And why do we take care to dispose of our trash properly, while many others don't? These and many other questions arose both in individual discussions during the collection and in the group dynamic, demonstrating how important sustainability and environmental awareness are today. With this in mind, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Clean-Up Campaign and hope to be able to participate again soon.

Vinnhorst Riflemen's March 2025 - We were there!
On August 24, 2025, the time had come again: Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV (Social Welfare Association) delightedly participated in the traditional Vinnhorst Marksmen's Parade. Together, we marched through the streets in fine weather. It was a wonderful opportunity to chat with many familiar and new faces.
After the parade, there was a special highlight for the children: a fast-paced ride on the bumper cars provided lots of laughter and a great time. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with many friendly encounters and a great sense of community.
We are already looking forward to next year!
Spring Festival of Generations – a colorful gathering on May 23, 2025
On Friday, May 23, 2025, the Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV celebrated its Spring Festival of Generations. In sunshine and breeze, young and old gathered for a joyful afternoon filled with social interaction, various treats, and shared activities.
Whether it was crafts, games, or simply a relaxing coffee break, there was something for all ages. It was especially nice to see children, parents, grandparents, and neighbors interacting across generations and laughing together.
A special highlight was the raffle, which generated great excitement with its many fantastic prizes. Overall, the festival was a complete success, and we are delighted with the numerous positive responses to both the festival and our association's work. This feedback strengthens our commitment and makes our work truly special.

Donation of the 21st Living Advent Calendar in January 2025
The 21st Living Advent Calendar in Vinnhorst was a complete success and noticeably strengthened the sense of community in the district!
The event, organized by the Vinnhorst Cultural Community, initially faced the challenge of finding enough participants to open their doors. But this concern was quickly forgotten: More and more private households, clubs, and institutions joined the initiative, creating wonderful moments full of warmth, community, and conviviality in December.
An overwhelming result
Thanks to the generous support and commitment of the visitors, the impressive sum of €2,710.65 was raised. On January 13, 2025, the proceeds were donated to three local organizations:
- Vinnhorst Primary School: €903.55 for new musical instruments,
- Kita St. Andreas: 903.55 € for the expansion of the library,
- Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV: €903.55 for a creative children’s art project.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in this event. What's especially great is that we're already receiving the first registrations for the 2025 Living Advent Calendar, and we'll be participating again.

With your dedication and heartfelt gifts, you breathed life into the children's heartfelt wishes and made their eyes sparkle. Your loving and creative wrapping made the gift-giving a very special moment—and an unforgettable experience for every child.
On the afternoon of December 20, 2024, we celebrated a wonderful Christmas party together in our Butze. With punch, cookies, and Christmas music, we let ourselves be enchanted by the festive spirit in a cozy atmosphere. The highlight of the afternoon was, of course, the gift giving, where each child received their very own wish. It was a moving moment as we sent the children off into the Christmas holidays with shining eyes and happy hearts.
This wonderful success was only possible thanks to the support of numerous wish-granters. With your dedication, you contributed to making this campaign a huge success for 68 children and 9 Butze Wünsche. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

A year couldn't end more beautifully - awarding of the Tulifurdum!
On December 17, 2024, we were privileged to experience an unforgettable moment. Our club was awarded the Tulifurdum 2024 by the outstanding organization "Business for Kids."
Not only does the beautiful Tulifurdum, which now adorns our club premises, fill us with pride and joy, but the presentation of a generous €4,000 prize by club chairman Mr. Wehrmann also touched us deeply.
Since 2019, Business for Kids has provided outstanding support to our social work by funding swimming lessons for the club's kids and generously sponsoring numerous projects. This ongoing support means more to us than words can express. We are filled with pride and gratitude to have such a dedicated and inspiring partner at our side.
Another highlight of the awards ceremony was that each child received a personalized gift—a moment that lit up children's eyes and touched hearts. The children expressed their gratitude for this unforgettable experience with small, homemade treats, and they immediately tried out the new toys with beaming faces.
This day was an incredibly beautiful experience for all of us – an honor and a moving appreciation of our work.

Summer deployment 2024 July 2024
On July 12, 2024, thanks to a generous donation from the Stiftung-Sparda Bank as part of the HAZ Summer Mission 2024 and the tireless commitment of the company Blattwerk, we were able to redesign the garden of our newly rented house at Schulenburger Landstrasse 145L. Before the mission, it resembled a small jungle. Now, the newly created area can be used by the club's children and young people to play, romp, and have fun.
We would like to thank everyone involved for this great effort.
It was a really nice, successful day!
Donation handover of the living Advent calendar 2023 January 2024
A great start to the new year!
On behalf of the children and young people of Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV, we would like to thank all participants and sponsors who, as part of the 20th Living Advent Calendar of the Kulturgemeinschaft Vinnhorst eV, made a significant contribution to the fact that a proud donation of €576.11 could be presented to the Butze on January 15, 2024.
This tremendous support will enable us to host a seaside holiday camp with approximately 45 children and young people during the 2024 summer holidays.
Special thanks also go to the Vinnhorst Cultural Association, which organizes the living Advent calendar every year with great commitment and enthusiasm, making it something very special for the district.
Nord LB Social Day January 2024
We started the new year full of energy with 13 dedicated Nord LB employees.
On January 8, 2024, we received incredible support from kind, motivated people who helped us move into new premises.
As part of a Social Day, Nord LB gave its employees the day off so that they could get involved socially as a team in our association.
The contact was made by Mr. Klaus Dieter Scholz (Rewe Markt Kurländer Weg) and his son Niklas (employee of Nord LB).
We extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our supporters! Without you, we wouldn't have been able to complete this major construction project so quickly and smoothly. It was a fantastic day, one we'll remember fondly.
It's very Christmassy... December 2023
An exciting and successful year is coming to an end.
This was celebrated as part of the Christmas parties at the end of the year in a cozy atmosphere with the children, young people and seniors of the association.
In recent years, you, dear wish-fulfillers, have given the children of Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV a wonderful present, and this year you once again exceeded their expectations! All of their heartfelt wishes were wrapped with such incredible love and creativity that every single child was overjoyed.

St. Nicholas Day of the Generations December 2023
On December 6, 2023, we spent a cozy St. Nicholas Day in our GenerationsButze. With various treats and exciting activities for the children, everyone had a great time together.
As promised, even Santa Claus made it to visit us. The children's eyes lit up as he handed each of them a little something. It's great that you made it to us, dear Santa Claus, and hopefully see you next year ;-)

Thanks to a generous donation from the Vinnhorst Entrepreneur Network, the "Vinnhorster Oldies" accompanied by the Butze Kids spent a sunny day at Hannover Adventure Zoo today.
True to the club's motto, "Old and young united - it's the WE that counts!", everyone had a wonderful day together, rounding it off with a delicious meal.

Summer Festival for World Children's Day June 2023
First of all, we would like to thank Ms. Lange and the Famila team for making it possible for us to participate in this wonderful summer festival for World Children's Day on June 3, 2023.
We all had an incredible amount of fun, and even the children who helped with the sales returned home with shining eyes at the end of the day thanks to the many great activities. Thanks to our sales stand and the kind-hearted people who donated, we raised €487.51. A very special thank you goes to the many lovely people at the Triker Lounge. They made the festival a truly special experience with their wild rides, and the children's eyes lit up! Thanks to their hard work, we received a proud donation of €487.82 at the end of the day. In total, the children's festival raised €975.33 for the children and youth development program run by Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV.

After 31 years at Benecke-Kaliko AG, Dr. Dirk Leiß is taking on a new role at Continental.
As a farewell, the employees have prepared a special surprise for their boss.
A whopping €530.00 was collected and donated to Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV (Social Welfare Association Vinnhorst) to support disadvantaged children and young people in the immediate neighborhood. Dr. Dirk Leiß received the donation check during the farewell ceremony.
On behalf of the children, Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV would like to express its sincere gratitude to all those involved for this tremendous support. The donation will be used for the children's and youth development program's summer camp in summer 2023, as without financial support, such a camp would not be possible for many children.

Food donations for the JugendButze
We would like to thank you!
At the beginning of the year, the Biniek family's REWE supermarket in Ledeburg approached Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV again because they wanted to support the JugendButze project. We were and are extremely pleased about this. The Biniek family's REWE supermarket in Ledeburg is donating a large amount of food to JugendButze. This support makes it possible for our JugendButze to cook, bake, and eat together in a healthy and sustainable way.
At the beginning of the month, the young people create a menu in which they individually decide what they would like to cook/bake and eat. Based on the menu, they must create a shopping list for REWE Familie Biniek in Ledeburg.
The process of creating a menu, shopping, and preparing food are thus promoted as practical life skills. The children also learn to work independently and take on responsibility. The JugendButze program is able to deepen a culture of eating through communal preparation and eating, as well as conversations around the table. At the same time, the young people's motor skills are developed and their vocabulary expanded.
The support will also support the existing cooking project run by JugendButze. Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV will soon be producing its own cookbook, which will include recipes from JugendButze made possible through food donations.
We would therefore like to thank the REWE Biniek family in Ledeburg not only for the donations but also for the opportunity to support them in the areas of nutrition, education and independence.
A swimming course in the water world with "Business for Kids eV" May 2022
Thanks to the tremendous support of "Business for Kids eV" and the sponsors of "Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV," 12 children from our club were given the opportunity to earn their Seahorse badge. After just the first training sessions, everyone's ambition was piqued. The children trained diligently every day and gave their best to earn their Seahorse badge at the end of the course. The first progress and successes were quickly visible, and at the end of the course, their efforts paid off. Each child achieved outstanding success. They pushed their own boundaries and overcame initial fears, so that on the last day of the course, 6 Seahorse badges and 1 bronze badge were presented to their proud owners. We are very proud of these little champions and will build on their success with our holiday program at the outdoor pools.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our board and staff for their daily shuttle service. A special thank you also goes to swimming instructor Siggi and his crew. With patience, warmth, and great dedication, the children were accompanied and motivated every day.
But above all, we say THANK YOU to "Business for Kids eV"! Without you, none of this would have been possible. We're already looking forward to the next course 😊

November 2021 Heart's Desires Campaign 2021 After the successful Heart's Desire campaigns in previous years, thanks to the support of the Funke printing company, Blumen Hoffmann GbR and Blattwerk GmbH, we were once again able to display the children's heart's wishes at Blumen Hoffmann during the Christmas season. Now we depend on your support as wish-granters to put a smile on the faces of all our children from Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV. The children wrote their wishes with joy and enthusiasm on their cut-out wish hearts. This year the hearts are hanging at Blumen Hoffmann (Grambartstrasse 4, 30165 Hanover). Two swimming courses with "Business for Kids" July 2021
Swimming is one of the basic skills and is important for survival in the event of an emergency.
We are therefore incredibly grateful for the tremendous support from the "Business for Kids" association. This made it possible for us to take swimming lessons with 20 children from Butze at the Langenhagen Water World. The children trained diligently every day and gave their best to earn their Seahorse badges at the end of the course. The first progress and successes were quickly visible, and at the end of the course, their ambition paid off. Each child achieved a great success. We are very proud of these little fighters and will build on this with our holiday program at the outdoor pools.
Parent-child groups under construction May 2021
The parent-child groups are designed for all parents with babies and toddlers who enjoy singing, learning new finger games and songs, and playfully trying out different play materials in a relaxed atmosphere. We aim to create new spaces for the children to experience and explore, implement ideas together, meet future daycare or kindergarten parents, organize mutual support, and, above all, spend time with the children.
There will also be time for questions and a relaxed exchange among each other.
Two groups are planned:
- Group for babies and toddlers up to 1.5 years
- Group for toddlers from 1.5 to 3 years

Heartfelt wishes come true despite the coronavirus! December 2020. On December 18, 2020, a small gift exchange was held outside the "Butze" due to the pandemic, but still in a festive Christmas atmosphere. Despite the chilly temperatures, the children and young people waited outside the facility and a festively decorated table to receive their eagerly awaited gifts. The children and young people accepted the gifts with shining eyes. We would like to thank Braun for the delicious cookies, Göing for the muffins, and all sponsors for their heartfelt gifts. We wish you a healthy start to the new year and look forward to continuing our successful cooperation.

We rely on continued active support to bring a Christmas smile to the faces of as many of the 60 children and young people as possible from Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV. September 2020: Göing donates to the Butze! Thanks to the Göing Bakery, many social organizations receive baked goods donations every day. Since September 2020, the Butze has also benefited from this wonderful support. Rolls, breads, and sweet pastries can be picked up from the Hanover/Vinnhorst branch Wednesday through Friday. These are lovingly prepared by our staff for the lunchtime snack, so that the children can enjoy a healthy snack in the form of sandwiches and bread with fruit and vegetables after their busy day at school. The sweet pastries are distributed as part of the daily afternoon snack and ensure the children's eyes light up. Thank you so much for this wonderful support!
June 2020 A step back to "normality" "Finally, we can all come back!" These were the words of the children and young people after we informed them that the programs at Sozialwerk Vinnhorst eV could resume. Learning support is already taking place as usual in our learning support centers, so that, thanks to the Wilhelm Hirte Foundation, individualized lessons can continue during the holidays. The Butze is also now reopening its doors at regular hours and, with the incredible support of the Scholz family - REWE Markt Hannover Vinnhorst - can continue to provide fruit distribution for the children and young people. Special thanks also go to the Bürgerstiftung Hannover, which continued to actively support us during this difficult time. With the summer holidays also starting soon, nothing stands in the way of the 2020 summer holiday fun. All activities and offerings were able to be planned while taking current Corona regulations into account. The holiday fun is significantly supported by the Hannover Stiftung - Stiftung der Sparkasse Hannover.
February 2020 Kicking off the new school semester with a bang! On February 3, 2020, we headed to the trampoline hall with 31 children and teenagers. The trip was a complete success. All participants had an incredible amount of fun and were able to really let off steam. This fantastic experience was made possible by the Sparkasse Hannover Foundation, which generously supported our "Holiday Fun 2020" project this year. THANK YOU!
